Andrew D. Thrasher Bio

 

Andrew (Andy) D. Thrasher is an adjunct faculty for NSBT who specializes in teaching inter-religious dialogue. He is also an adjunct professor at George Mason University, American University, and Tidewater Community College, where he teaches survey courses in Asian, World, Comparative, and Western religions, alongside courses on religion and literature, with a specialty in fantasy literature. He is pursuing his doctorate at the University of Birmingham where he is researching post-secular religiosity. He is also an expert on the religious pluralist, Raimon Panikkar. He dwells in Fairfax, VA outside of Washington D.C. and enjoys reading with a cup of third wave coffee. He is published on Raimon Panikkar, Dr. Strange, and Game of Thrones, and is a co-editor of a forthcoming volume on Fantasy, Theology, and the Imagination.
