Dr. Tyrone Stevenson is an Adjunct Professor at New School of Biblical Theology, teaching Church History and Leadership in the "Third Sector." Tyrone is the founder and Senior Pastor of Hope City Church, one church worshipping in Brooklyn, New York, and Baldwin Long Island. Tyrone is a New York Theological Seminary graduate, earning his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees. Tyrone is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hope Empowerment and Development Zone (HEADZ), a 501c3 dedicated to serving the people of East New York, Brooklyn, since 2003. His concern for the community's mental health led him to establish Zoe Center for Growth Counseling Center and presently serves as its Managing Director. He is a veteran of the United States Navy. Tyrone is married to the love of his life Terrie, and they have three children; when he has time, he enjoys riding his motorcycle.
