INSTITUTIONAL LANGUAGE of INSTRUCTION

The official language of instruction at the New School of Biblical Theology (NSBT) is English. All courses, instructional materials, assignments, assessments, and institutional communications are delivered in English. Students enrolled at NSBT must possess sufficient English language proficiency to read academic materials, participate in course discussions, complete written assignments, and successfully meet program learning outcomes.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRANSCRIPT and CREDENTIAL EVALUATION POLICY

Applicants submitting academic transcripts issued in a language other than English must provide both the original official transcript and a certified English translation. Translations must accurately reflect the content of the original document and be prepared by a qualified translation service.

In addition, international transcripts must be evaluated by a recognized third-party credential evaluation agency to determine equivalency to United States educational standards. NSBT accepts evaluations from the following agencies:

  • World Education Services (WES)

  • Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE)

  • International Education Research Foundation (IERF)

  • SpanTran: The Evaluation Company

  • International Education Evaluations (IEE)

The evaluation report must be sent directly from the evaluation agency to NSBT or submitted in an official sealed format. Applicants are responsible for all fees associated with translation and credential evaluation services. NSBT reserves the right to request additional documentation when necessary to verify academic credentials. Submission of evaluated transcripts does not guarantee admission or transfer of credit.
