Terms of Use

These terms state how this website, www.nsbt.org, and its sign-in may be used. The website is published by The New School of Biblical Theology, Inc., incorporated in the state of Florida, with a home address in the city of Orlando. These terms are dated September 13, 2026 and are published under the authority of the Executive Vice President.

Reading and using the site

A visitor may read the pages of this site, print or save a page for personal, non-commercial use, and link to any page.

The text, photographs and design of this site belong to The New School of Biblical Theology, Inc., except where a page says otherwise. The portraits on this site were provided by the people they show or were published by NSBT on its earlier site.

A visitor may not copy the site’s pages or photographs for republication, sell or redistribute them, present any part of the site as another organization’s work, or interfere with the site or with the server that hosts it.

The contact and request forms on this site are for inquiries to NSBT. A visitor uses them in his or her own name. What is typed into them is delivered to NSBT’s own server for the Office of Student Services and nowhere else; the Privacy page says what this site collects from a visitor.

Instructional materials in Populi

All information that is posted in Populi in course offerings at NSBT is password protected and must stay that way.

Students are not to copy material found in Populi and post it anywhere other than in the NSBT learning system.

Videos or other resources found in Populi that are provided for instructional purposes are to be treated as copyrighted information and must not be shared outside the NSBT online classroom environment.

Signing in

When sign-in with Google is enabled at www.nsbt.org, the Log in button opens a page that asks whether the person is a student, a graduate (the Alumni button), a faculty member or a staff member. Pressing a button starts sign-in with a Google account; the site never collects a password. Until then, the Log in page opens each platform at its own sign-in page.

Sign-in is handled by Google, and NSBT does not store a password. Google confirms the account and this site keeps one signed cookie in that person’s browser for the sign-in session, at most eight hours; the site stores no account or password of its own. What is logged is the time, the outcome of the sign-in, the account’s domain, the role claimed and the role served, and a short hash of the email address — never the email in plain text and never a token. Signing out clears the cookie. A tampered or expired cookie sends the visitor back to the sign-in page.

For an account in the nsbt.org Google Workspace, the role shown is confirmed from the nsbt.org directory, not taken from the button pressed; where the two differ, the confirmed role is shown and the page says so.

A graduate signs in with any Google account; no record is checked, because every button on the role page for graduates is a link to a platform that enforces its own login or to a page of this site.

The pages reached after sign-in hold buttons. Each opens one of the platforms NSBT uses — Populi, Google Workspace, the Digital Theological Library and Webex — or a page of this site; each platform applies its own terms and its own login where it asks for one.

A person signs in only with an account issued to or held by that person and does not share an NSBT account. Students complete their own coursework consistent with the Student Identity Verification Policy in the Academic Catalog.

What this site says

The Academic Catalog is the institution’s controlling published statement of program, cost, and admissions requirements. Where a page of this site and the Catalog differ, the Catalog governs and the page is corrected to it.

The New School of Biblical Theology is not accredited. Federal student loans are not available for The New School of Biblical Theology. The New School of Biblical Theology does not participate in the Federal Student Aid programs. Accreditation Status

What this site collects from a visitor, and the institution’s statement on the privacy of student records, are on the Privacy page.

Other sites

This site links to the platforms NSBT uses and to other organizations’ sites. Each is governed by its own terms and its own privacy statement, and NSBT does not control them.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, where NSBT is incorporated.

NSBT may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the text in force.
